IDOE and AIR strongly recommend that educators who will be involved in test administration attend one or more optional training sessions to become familiar with AIR’s online systems and processes. The scheduled trainings will also highlight any systems updates and enhancements available for the 2019-2020 school year. Registration is required for all live sessions. Recordings of live sessions and other pre-recorded modules will be posted on the Indiana Assessment Portal, per the schedule.

This manual provides an overview of the embedded and non-embedded assistive technology tools that can be used to help students with special accessibility needs complete online tests in the Test Delivery System (TDS).It includes lists of supported devices and applications for each type of assistive technology that students may need, as well as setup instructions for the assistive technologies that require additional configuration in order to work with TDS.

The I AM student data files available under ‘Retrieve Student Results’ in ORS are provided as grade-specific files with all content areas for that grade included in the same file. Please note that the data file layout headers will vary slightly based on the content areas assessed at that grade. In addition, Biology is provided in its own file separate from the grade 10 layout. These files can be accessed here as a resource.
